DANBURY, Conn. – The Danbury Republican Town Committee has nominated former Councilwoman Colleen Stanley to fill a vacancy on the council, according to a report by WLAD.

Stanley would fill the position opened by Jack Knapp, who resigned in June, according to WLAD.

Stanley was elected to the council in 2003, said WLAD.
